Artist Statement

Tradition, spirituality, and history are the trinity of my artistic practice. I explore forms and motifs found in nature and liturgical objects that cultivate exaltation. I seek out meditative and detail-intensive techniques like wax-carving, chasing and repoussé, and raising. I generate vessels in order to embody my faith in both process and perfected piece. Through my ceative vocation I endeavor to exercise humility and discipline and deepen my relationship with God.
